Tony currently performs with the big band Swing’s the Thing,, The Usual Suspects and The Repeat Offenders, as well as the Slapdash Quartet. He has played various styles of music from Jazz to rock with numerous bands, performing along the Maine coast and in the Columbus area since relocating from Maine in 1997. Tony Kertis Tony has been playing saxophones for over 35 years. He lives in Athens with his wife Shannon. Ken also has completed a recording engineering program at the Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, Ohio. He studied jazz through programs Capital University and holds a B.S. Ken also performed with the Columbus-based theater company, Shadow Productions in original contemporary operas. A veteran of the Columbus music scene, he has performed with Sixfoot Blonde,, Endless Recess,, Swing’s The Thing Big Band, Rick Brunetto Big Band, Mimi Rousseau, Chip Vivian, Ashley Everts, Best of Seven, Doubleplay, 33:3, the Denison University Jazz Band, and many others. She has toured nationally as a singer with Lost and Found and has also worked for 13 years as a church musician. Michael Ebner Mike started playing bass at the age of 12. Janet is the keyboardist and vocalist for Slapdash Quartet. Janet and her husband, Mark, live in Reynoldsburg. She teaches both piano and voice at her home studio, performs with the big band Swing’s the Thing and plays for weddings, school musicals and in inspirational programs throughout Ohio. Janet also studied piano with Diane Bish at MVNU and Diane Frazier-Cross at Capital. She studied voice with Carol Marty of Capital University and Virginia Cameron of Mount Vernon Nazarene University.
